I had the priviledge of taking out 2 brothers and their father a week ago. They called me up stating that their mother/wife had passed away and while everyone was here in Indiana they wanted to go fishing. We boated 2 fish that day with a 42" on a figure 8 and one of the brothers catching the fish below in the picture. Here is the email that they sent me...one of the highlights of my guiding:

Vince,

I would like to thank you for taking us on a wonderful adventure! It was what we needed after our mom passed away. This was one of my "Bucket List" items that I thought would never happen! We saw more Muskie than I have ever seen in my life and I have been fishing for over 35 years. This was a dream come true! If I did not live in California I would be there every weekend with you! My mothers wish was for me to catch a Muskie just like her father did. You made this wish come true and we will be forever grateful for that! Who would have thought I would catch a 49 1/4 inch Muskie in Indiana! You are a true pro when it comes to Muskie my friend! Good luck and keep fishing!

The Stringfield Family

Very cool Vince!!! That is truly what it is all about. For all of the fishless days, cold, crappy, windy days, and sunny glass calm days, the musky gods throw us a bone once in a while and it makes someones day. Very cool story and excellent email from your client. Way to go daddio!!!!

That's awesome Vince. Good for them and good for you for making it happen. Those guys will never forget that as long as they live.

Another catch and release factor here Bill...Darrin Conley caught this same fish 3 years ago when it was 46".

Vince did his job, but I am sure Mom was with the Stringfield family the whole time.

You could not ask for a better outcome. There are times when guiding can become routine customers in and customers out. But knowing what the event can mean can put a better perspective on it. When I guided full time, I would not have done it all for the money it brought. But when it came to the friends and memories...priceless!
Congrats on a great job done Vince.
