Posts: 90 Location: Athens, Ohio | What seems to be the favorite line of musky fisherman? I was looking @ Powerpro, maybe 80#, to put on a new reel.

Your going to get a lot of people that say PP is great but, why would you want to use a line that hasent changed for 12 years? I would go with just about any thing other than PP. I personally use suffix and cortland master braid.

Posts: 582 | I have tried the Tuf Line XP and it holds way too much water for me. other than that, its pretty good. I used PP the most but this year switched 2 reels to Sufix and its now my FAVORITE line.

Posts: 40 Location: Elkhorn, WI | I've used most of the super braids and really don't have any complaint with any. The worst super braid is much better than the old best braid. I got a Revo Winch this summer and spooled it with 80# Suffix just to get the $6 rebate and I'm very happy with it.
