i hear of a lot of monsters being caught in deep water. In vilas county it is illegal to troll so what is the best way to fish for deep fish casting. 20+ ft (i am assuming large countdown crankbaits) also what is the prefered fish finders for locating the fish

thanks

Slayer:

In addition to countdown crankbaits, I also like to use bucktails and safety pin type spinners. Slow-rolled above structure or along breaks these can at times be highly effective. I like to use them because they are much easier on the wrists, arms, shoulders and back than crankin' many of the countdowns. I also use countdown lures for sure but augment their use with the tails and spinners. Hope this helps.
