Posts: 134 | The river up by the Rainbow is also very high... i was told the newly constructed fishing platform was 5 feet underwater last week. we lost a few sections of dock last week... this is the highest i've seen this river in 26 years.

Posts: 661 Location: Roscoe IL | Fished the Jersey Flowage on Saturday in Tomahawk for about an hour before I decided to pull the boat because of the heavy current. My trolling motor would not keep up and we got blown out of the best spots. Lake Nokomis is higher than I have ever seen it too. Lots of rain this year, thats for sure. Posts: 2361 | The last pic of the Du Bay tailrace shows the area we used to bravely go out and cast for walleye and northern in the spring a couple years back when I went to school. I wonder how far downstream it would blow you before you had any possible chance of getting to shore?

I was wondering the same thing too...I saw two guys fly fishing for muskies in chest waders. They were about 20 yards out from shore below the Clark St. bridge here in Stevens Point on Saturday when the water was raging. They were in a current break, but I thought those guys were nuts!!..one wrong move and they could have been taking a ride down the river. That pic of Dubay is crazy!! I never made it up there...cool to see a picture of it.
