Is the Canadian Potao ban only for fresh potatoes? Or all potatoes?

This is the only real info I have found, and all it says in No Potatos?

They have actually relaxed the ban on spuds and won't hassle you with amounts up to 10 pounds per person. The only requirement is they be commercially packaged. So don't dig them out of your garden and thrown them in a bag.

Eggs may be the new issue. With the big recall last week, we have info from our touism associations that some CBSA officials have been turning back or confiscating eggs, but we have not had any of our guests say that it has happened to them...yet.

Thanks for the info. I'm a spud junkie, not sure I can go a week without spuds!
