Has anyone used malin stainless steel wire to make there leaders and how did they work for you, I was thinking of using 131b .024iamater

Tex, I've used Malin wire before but not for Musky. I use it for walleyes when casting crankbaits and plastics. Where I fish there are Pike everywhere and they like your $7 crankbaits. It works great to tie to your fireline and keep your baits. I believe the stuff I use is 20lb with 6lb diameter. I've been told that you are supposed to match the diameter of your main line with the diameter of your leader if you are tying directly. I hope this helps.
