Posts: 547 Location: Oshkosh | Hit up a small lake Friday night and managed a pretty fat little 32 on a chopper 5 min before sunset. Saw a few others and 2 nice fish. It was a beautiful night to be on the water! Peter

Posts: 393 Location: Hopefully on the water | I got one about 38" on a Pacemaker on Sunday during a panfish tourney with my 5 year old son. Didn't have the net with us as we were panfishing but thought to throw for a little while. After that my son started casting himself. He started out using the baitcaster for the first time and did pretty good. No birds nest and the cast started going a little father each time. Proud momment to see both the boys casting with them and liking it. The fish went airbourne 3-4 times during the fight and my son loved seeign that. He yells to me "where is the net" I told him we left it at home. He was all excited and worried about loosing it. We made a good safe boatside release with one 1 little cut across the finger from it. Good thing so far this year is I have been able to have a Muskie on with both of my sons this year while they have been out with me and seeing their excitement is worth it. He didn't want to reel this one in as I asked if he wanted to reel it in. Good luck to everyone fishing.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Got out between a storm or two on Saturday. Messed up and was on the way to a different lake when the first storm was on the way. A guy I know that stayed out caught 2 while we were in transit. After the storm came through I caught a 42 soon after getting out. A while later caught a very hard fighting 41 later in the evening. Made it out Sunday from mid morning to about noon. Missed something that felt like a musky but who knows and caught a 35. All fish were caught on a Hardhead. Had the boat positioned so we could just barely cast to the deepest weeds on weedlines, or if no weeds to about 10 feet deep. Best spots seem to be areas where you can just hit the weeds on a long cast but still have the boat in 22-25+ feet of water. Water temps for the most part were 76-77.
