The rod is an 8 foot shimano calcutta in-shore rod. The handle has been extended to 14" and has a small flair. The rod now comes out closer to 8'4. This rod is built with shimano's TC4 construction which is graphite inter-woven with fiber glass, this makes it very light, responsive and sensitve, yet nearly indestructable. It is a great rod for Bull Dawgs and Cow Girls, yet throws everything else well. Its a great all around rod, I've thrown every thing from jigs to Super modles to mag dawgs to Crane Baits to 10" Jakes and evrything in-between successfully on this rod. It was $240 retail and is 2 years old, and wasn't used much this season. I am asking for $180 or best offer. Anyone interested?
