| Just got back from Lake of the Woods. And did alot better. You guys have heard me vent about my frustrating trips, this time I had a good one. My brother in-law and I went 6 for 10. I got 5 of the 6. Hey it was his first time Musky Fishing, so you got to pay your dues. I got a 37, 40, 40, 47, and a nice 49 incher and he got a fat 38 incher. We also got 31, 39 and 41 inch northerns. The fish where all on rocks except one. I tried the weeds but after a day and half of nothing, I had to switch my plans. The major areas was smaller islands and reefs. The top producing lures were Marv's spinnerbaits black with gold blades, super-raider and the scret weapon(which they don't make anymore)the giant smoo, on that subject if anyone wants to get rid of there smoo's, it has to be the "giant one."
