I pull a hood, hat, or sunglasses out. They only last an hour or so and I just fight through them and wait for the clear.

Thanks everyone for the kind words too!

I always try have a Medussa in the water too, it's been good for me the last few years catching some pigs on pressured waters. It's different enough to what everyone else is throwing and I think the 3 tails made a different vibration than other rubber.

People can laugh, but it's my thought. Alot of thos same people thought the Cowgirl was just a bucktail too! LOL

I know you also do well in the late fall on Bulldawgs. Do you also use the Medussas during late fall? Just curious if you think there is a time and place for each. Is the larger Medussa going to be available this year? I wouldn't mind throwing one around this Oct. and Nov.

Congratulations Jason... absolutely fantastic!

Greenjeans: The best trick I use to combat mosquitoes is to spray the heck out of a light hooded sweatshirt at home and just place it in a Ziploc bag. This way your all ready to go when they attack, and not getting spray all over the boat too boot. I also rub the contraband deet stuff on my hands ect. and try to keep the boat moving a little quicker than normal when they really get thick.

Mosquitoes are the least of your worries on Mille Lacs.

Also, the bug hatch seems to have a let up a bit from what it was.

I have used the Thermacell with great results to counter the mosquitos. They also do moderately well at keeping away lake flies and mayflies. Just set it up somewhere in your boat and no worries. No smelly, sticky bug repellent required.

Jason,
Have you had any good luck with the Cowdussa ? I really like the Medussa and have a few cowdussa's but haven't given them much water time... Should I spend more time throwing the cowdussa ?

Pulling that thing in all day will build muscles even in the swim suit area !
Thank God for Trinadads.
