| I have an 04 618T with 03 Merc 90 hp 4 stroke saltwater. When i got the boat back in 07 it would run speeds upwards of 35 or 36 mph. last year it would run around 33 and this year it has dropped even more down to 30, 31. Does anyone know why this could be? prop is SS and in perfect condition. |

| Is your trim set consistantly from last year? Same trim, same rpm's etc..? |

| Yeah not a thing has been changed. I always run same trim. Also kind of curious what everyone else gets with their boat if you're running a 618T 90 hp |

Location: somewhere! | Your prop might be warped, you will not see it with the naked eye. Same thing happened to a friend |

Location: Cedarburg, Wisconsin | Try it with a new prop. If you get the same results the motor is probably in need of some work. But I'd be more inclined to think it is the prop losing some cup from wear. Only other posibility is the hull is dirty or warping and that's not likely, is it?. If you read any of the bass board posts about props it is common for a prop to lose cup after some years of use. |

Location: Twin Cities | Correct me if im wrong, but u will get better performance with a SS prop vs the same in aluminum. So you should see even less speed with aluminum. |
