Location: Des Moines IA | I washed and waxed the Tuffy today, but would really like to clean up the scratched windshield. Anybody know any tricks? Posts: 422 | Get a hold of some Novus products.. They have a series of numbered products based on need. At least they did a few years ago. Good luck!

Posts: 551 Location: Columbus, Georgia | MuskieMike, Nice job. Your boat looks great. I recently purchased a 10-year old Ranger. The spidering within each windshield could not be removed so I purchased two brand new ones. Cost was about $125 each. I will probably replace the old ones after I've had the carpeting replaced this winter.

Posts: 462 Location: Antioch, IL | MuskieMike - 6/21/2010 6:41 PM What happened to the Nitro Dave? Still have it. Runs great. Not quite as pretty as it used to be, but oh well. I just like having a lake chauffeur Back on topic. I second the novus products. For minor fine scratches they have 2 levels of liquid scratch removers and the a liquid polish. For scratches with some depth to them they have a sanding kit. 20 grade levels of "paper" and then follow up with the liquids to get a like new finish. I used to use it all the time when I was restoring and installing acrylic aquariums. The stuff works.
