Anyone musky fishing out of a Skeeter 1850 or 1880? How are they?

I had two. Nice rigs, handle the water well. The 175 rating allowed for low 50's.

The 1850 is a big boat, but not horrible. I caught quite a few muskies out of mine with no complaints.

I actually just sold a 1880, Overall a great boat, Handled big water like a larger boat.
The Rod lockers could be a little larger for musky rods, and the bow could be a little larger for musky fishing, I would think the 1850 might be a little better setup for musky fishing. I decided to go back to a single console boat for the room they provide for musky fishing.

i run a 1880 skeeter. love it for eyes and skis. does great here on mille lacs..... mine is a single counsel and has a 200 hp rating. my 150 yammy pushes here at 48 with a full load and two guys.
