| Has anyone used these? And if so any problems? I borrowed one today from a buddy and the handle broke in half just from casting it. Just curious if anyone else has had issues. thanks |

Location: Hayward, WI | I have his 8'6. Got it last year. It was the only rod I used for double 10's all the way up to Pounders. Didn't toss Pounders with it a LOT, but it saw a lot of 8 oz+ baits, and a fair amount of Pounder tossing. No problems with mine. Handles double 10's and Mag Dawg size baits well.

Location: South-Central PA | Red Lab, it's highly unlikely that the handle broke from merely casting it. Sounds like the old 'my rod broke from setting the hook on a 10" bass' problem. There had to be prior damage to the rod.

| The rod has never had any fish caught on it of any kind. Was only used 5 times in the last 3 years. And never seen a lure heavier then maybe 4 oz until I was using it for mag dogs today in the tourney. My friend is very anal about his stuff and knowing that I also took extra care not to damage it (step on it etc) It appears the handle is is not one solid piece under the cork. |

Location: Land of the Musky | Depending on where you are its about $20 for a new handle to be put on. Nice thing about that is you can specialize the handle to the length and cork diameter you want. Just a side idea for you...Call Jason woudl be another good idea... |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sounds like a defect in the rod. Call the manufacturer, that might get something done faster than complaining on this message board. |
