| Thanks, Steve, now I know what I want for my birthday on 4/2 - a trip back to the Cave! And a 49 incher, one for each year. m[] |
| |
| As is my spot also reserved for this second of many more to come fun, exciting, can't wait historical events! W/ Tonys place, Garvins + now a new Comfort Inn, no reason there can't be floating boat room only....so remember, don't blow all that $$$$ at Christmas for those who don't appreciate it; do something for yourselves for ONCE! And no excuses such as "My wife told me no"...begin now to take charge of your household...by this coming April you will have established your dominance + rightful place in todays world. [:sun:] |

| I'm in! Again! Marked on the calendar. Already praying to the weather gods, so that we don't get a repeat of last year's COOOOOOLLLLLLDDDD front!
See you at the CA-AVE. Cady, you gonna maybe make it this year?
Tight Lines,
Shep[:sun:] |

| Me and my partner were the first two out last year, apparently there was no room at the inn. God willing and the creek don't rise we would like to head down with you guys this year. Last year we did a solo trip, and yes, we did put one in the boat-41.5". I'm sure last years guys get first crack at it but if anyone drops out please let me in. |

| Norm(al)...should be ample room w/ the addition of the Comfort Inn, located next to the B.P. station on 801, just a short zip to Scotts Creek ramp. If I remember correctly Mr. Smith stated that this coming yr. there will be more slots![:sun:] |

| Obviously would prefer to stay at Tony's but will sleep on a cot at the boat ramp if necessary. Had a great time there last year, but would really like to see what it looks like without 16 extra feet of water. Is that the BP right down from Crash's place?? |
| |
| We've got Tony's locked up. I've sent messages to Gregg Thomas to get up "Hooked" up with Hooks, Line's and Sinkers as well. We should be able to accomodate for a decent price quite a few guys.

| Sponger has it correct! I stopped at the Comfort Inn during the Pmtt last year! I'll see what we can get a group rate at! |
| |
| Cady I had a few plans for this that Worrall and myself agreed upon on the return trip this year...
Let work on some great details before we layout the spring fling.
We plan on using the comfort in (north) and Tony's place (South) for a little lake battle. With a big shin dig at the comfort inn for all. Thats one of the ideas.
Also, did you check with MI to see where they are at for the cabin fever? |
| |
| There are 2 REALLY neat things about the new Comfort Inn;
1- there is a BP gas station next door + you can load up on Twinkies, Ding Dongs + Mountain Dews that all northerners thrive on...
2- If you have a musky sticker on your vehicle you can sleep in you truck on the lot for FREE, as they will probably think you are a paying guest....
What better deal might one ask for![:sun:] |
| |
| I definately want to go to this again next year.
Mark H., is this the same weekend as Crazy D's seminar's?? Hope not, that too is a must attend weekend. I could get a cramp deciding which one to go to.[] |
| |
| We always stop at the BP for snacks before going out on the lake. Haven't seen the new comfort inn yet. They were building it last time I was down. Sounds like a fun time for all! |
