I need to replace my bow light plug in recipticle. The current/original is in conjunction with the horn. I'd like to avoid the slow and expensive process of going through my ranger dealer (Idon't believe ranger will sell me the part directly).

I know this is a longshot but does anyone happen to have one they'd like to sell?

Any ideas on retrofitting without the horn?

This is a very easy fix. I broke one a couple years ago and simply ordered the part through my dealer and told them up front that I'd do the installation myself. The part was at the dealer in less than two weeks ... I think it was closer to a week. The part cost about $50.

Remove the screws. Pull out the unit. Unplug the wired connections. Attach the connections to the new unit and push it into the hole. Re-install the screws. With a cordless drill it takes about two minutes.
