I'm in the process of looking for a new reel. What would you guys recommend? I probably wouldnt go higher then 140. Ive been lookin on the buy/sell forum. What are your opinions?

What type of lures do you plan on using with the reel?

I would try to find a used 400 TE and rebuild it. New drags and a couple bearings and you are good to go for years.

Guys like to throw reels away because the wearing parts wore out. You gotta buy new tires on a car once in awhile too.

Look for a revo toro on ebay. They have had good reviews and the 5.4:1 is a good all around reel.
