Fished Friday with little success, one pike and something nailed a cowgirl after dark but nothing there on the hookset. Fished Sunday evening from 6:30-9:30 and raised one on a Pacemaker at around 7:30 and got a fat 44 1/2" on the same pacemaker at about 9:15. Lots of floating weeds already making topwater pretty difficult where I was fishing.

Water temps 61. Had a rough day with 3 - 38-40" fish getting hooked and coming off. Had a swipe from a 43 and a good follow from a 45. Only fish landed though was a 32 lol. Wind was bad but the fish were biting well enough.

Yeah Scott if I would have had a brat with with me it would have made for some good looking grey poupon. Unfortunately I kneeled in it so I couldn't save it.

Saturday-Spent a couple hours with the kids on the Cedar before Michael's B-Day party at the YMCA. They caught drum, white bass and a couple tiny channel cats.
Sunday- Spring Branch fishin' trout. Caught a couple rainbows and a brown, but lost a 16-18" Brown that went airborne 3X! The kids had a blast, especially feeding the brood stock at the hatchery. Good times.

Took my youngest son out on Wed(his weekend) and got a 31 and 34. Took out my little fishing buddy who is 14 on Sat and got a 31 and 34. It was his 6th musky of his life. Got a small pike, and skunked for musky on Sunday. Can't wait to get North of Hwy 10 this coming weekend!

Here's a Melton Hill Lake Musky caught Saturday down here in Tennessee.

A Crappie patterned Shallow Invader got this 46'er to bite.
