Anyone use them? Any reveiws? someone recommended and said it was rock solid for ripping rubber and really worked well overall.

I have one and love it. I would NOT use it for ripping rubber of any size. Small Bucktails, Top Water, WTD Top Waters, Gliders, Dive and Rise jerks all great. Its a dynamite , fast llight weight reel. I just would not ruse it for most rubber.

I also have one and I love it, as Mojo said I wouldn't use it for ripping rubber. I have used it a bit for ripping crankbaits under 5 oz and as much as I see the spool flex I could only imagine what would happen with mag dawgs and pounders. Great for burning showgirls and smaller.

This reel has 6.9 gears so it will not handle baits that pull hard and 4-5oz max, and I would not rip big baits with this reel, or the spool shaft will flex and bend.
