| My autopilot will not turn to the right. When on auto pilot, it will adjust to the right.
So I have determined that the problem is in the foot pedal. I have seen it before on other people's and have just dipped them in water as there was probably just some sand in the pedal.
I dipped mine last night and it would still not work.
Any trouble shooting suggestions?
Thanks - It is only one year old !!!

| I had the exact same problem. I ended up just replacing the pedal as it was still under warranty.

If you cant work it out try calling formula propeller in crystal on 81,broadway etc,,most people dont know they work on trolling motors but alot of the time they do,,,very reasonable and everytime Ive been there they fixed it while I waited |

| Check with Minn Kota for your closest warranty repair center. I have never had a pedal fail, but burned a motherboard out once. They had me back on the water right away.[] |

| The only problem I've ever encountered with the peddel is dirt and slime build up. They come apart easy and I just wash mine in warm soap and water with a tooth brush. |

| Get a file(emery cloth type or nail file) and contact cleaner clean contacts, usually your pedal will work with no problems(knock on wood as mine did,or it will not work at all and you will need a new one.My guess this is the same thing a repair shop will try.I would think it would be cheaper to get a new pedal than replace contacts with shop labor coats.0723 Bill Ramsey |

| Off the subject, always charge your motor with pedal unplugged also.0723 |

| Oh yeah, 1 More thought. My pedal was acting up and I ended up going to Radio Shack and bought a can of their electrical componant cleaner. This stuff did the trick. The best part is its NON-FLAMMABLE. Wd-40 and others will light up, this wont. Its a cleaner and lubricant, works great on getting crud off of any electrical connection. I think its about $10 for a can. It was the only stuff I found to be non-flammable

| Hey little one I also had that very same problem. For a while it would work once in a while, but finally quit all together. I brought it into a certified Minn Kota repair dealer and they just gave me a new foot pedal. |
