| This could be fun. Here is the challunge. As most of you know, I've got a real smelly critter in my boat. It appears only Muskies are offended by it's pungent odor. It's officially been in there since the Peewaukee WMT on 5/18/02, my first day out chasing ski's with the new rig. Remember Landy?
I am offering to donate, in that person's name, a modest sum to the Ashton fund, to the one that helps me kill this freeggin skunk hiding in my boat. I can fish on Sunday, and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings until Aug 22nd. Then beginning August 29th, I can fish Thursday and Friday evenings, and Saturday and Sundays.
Weekdays, I can fish SE WI lakes. I could, with some notice, get out of work a little early, and make it to, say, Madison lakes, or Little Green. After the 29th, I could travel to some more distant locations on weekends.
My boat, gas, beverages, snacks. My tackle or yours, baits and presentation? I don't care. That's your department. You tell me.
You help me get the skunk out, you will be known as the Charter Member of the MFin' Skunkeraser Club. Maybe Brian could make up some kind of traveling trophy appropriate for the title? You keep it until the next poor sole buys a new boat, and the skunk takes up residence in it. Then it passes on to the next MFin' Skunkeraser. Also, we need to set a minumum time period for the skunk to officially take up residence in the new boat. 1 calendar month long enough? Mine's been in there for over 3 months now![:knockout:]
What do you think? Mr. Steve W. What do you think an appropriate sum to the Ashton Fund should be? Any other comments from you, or Jason? I know I won't have to ask the Shady One for his comments. I'm sure they'll be free flowing!
Who's gonna be first? Who's gonna do it? Perhaps we should set up a pool?

where the heck is mr skunk hiding.? try mixing some antifreeze worms and chicken parts together and put it where mr skunk can find it.
mr skunk should smell the chicken and want to eat it and he will try and fish the chicken and worms out of the antifreeze and will poison himself.
see slamr to give him the money for the ashton auction. and then see the other post that u put up. i putin my recipe for skunk deoderizer.

| Shepster where were you tonight? The fish were going crazy. Lost two and stuck a 36 and a 38. I know of 5 other fish that were caught tonight. You can't catch them if you are not on the water. If you don't get that stinky critter out of your boat this weekend I will go out with you in your boat next week some time and we will kill that skunk!!!!![:praise:] |

One, Oh man, I was so close a couple times on that spot you so kindly shared on Deer. Actually, the hottest fish that morning was the one that Eric had follow! I wish he'd have connected.[:p] I will be back up to your neck of the woods. I liked both lakes, and saw some nice fish.
Mike, what can I say? I had the FamilyFirst.com thing last night. But I am going to be out tonight, I think. I'll take you up on your offer for next week, though. If I don't get slimed tonight or Sunday, you are more than welcome in my boat. Bring your clothes pin![:sun:]
Todd, how far? Look at the dates. After the 29th, I got the weekends free. Right now the wife is working Saturdays. If Mike can't do it, you may be next in line! Again, careful what you wish for![:praise:]

| Well, The skunk still lives. Was out Friday night, and had one rip right before sunset. Chatted with the Extreme one on the radio for quite awhile. He kept me going, while he was working on his downriggers. Kept me and the little one awake! Thanks, Mike.
Hit it again this morning. Trolled from 6:30 until 10. Nothing doing, but I wasn't alone. Mike and others were out, and did basically the same. Had both kids with me, so we decided to take a panfish break. Went to Smokies for minnies, and beer for Mike, Roy, and Rick. Spent the next 4 hours watching the kids catch a bunch of gills and some 10" bass.
Will hit it in the morning again. This thing has got to go. And soon. I'm hearing a new nick name on the radio. and nobody seems to want to follow down wind of me!
I'll keep you all posted.
DaveJ, if you can make it on Wednesday, we'll be joined by the Extreme One. You two go nuts. I'll just sit back and watch!

Tuesday is the State Fair with the Family. Thursday, I could probably make it out, if the in-laws will watch the daughter until the wife gets off work.
With the new moon on Thursday, I'm thinking one of these next trips out will be productive.
