| I have the oppurtunity to buy a couple reels at a good price my question is which reel would be better. Gonna go with the 60 series with a power handle. The reel will be going on a elite tech 8'6 xh model. As for gear ratio 6;4;1 or 5;4;1 mainly for double 10's but also some big plastics as well. The winch has a stronger drag system but does not hold as much line which would be a good choice. |

Location: Lake of the Woods, Morson, Ontario | The toro 60 winch is 4.6:1 gear ratio and probably the one you want for the bigger baits. I'm waiting for two toro 60 winch reels from pure fishing and one of them wiill be going on the same eltich tech 8-6 XH you are speaking of. The other will be on the 9HF predator I picked up last spring.
I have the toro 60 HS 6.4:1 on my jerk bait rod while my wife has the 5.4:1 on her bucktail rod.
I haven't used the winch yet myself, but can't wait to get them.
I don't think the line capacity is much of an issue. |

| Since you can buy a couple why not buy one of each? Then you have everything covered! |
