Hello, I am booked for a week at Red wing Lodge this october and looking for an experienced guide for the first couple of days. I haven't had much luck searching websites so I wwas wondering if someone could help with some references.
Thanks

I would ask Red Wing Lodge who the best guides are in that area if you haven't already.

To bad you're not staying at Black hawk Island camp, b/c the ledgendary guide Bill sandy owns it, and he would definately put you on some pigs.

Not usually too many guides left around Morson that time of the year. I would be surprised if you found any guides or guide services through the web for our area.

How late in October will you be fishing? Red Wing should be able to hook you up with someone. I'm sure they will point you in the right direction as well.

If not, swing by and I'll mark a map for you.

Use this link:
http://www.anglersproshop.ca/?pgid=80

Call them, its Angler's Pro Shop in Nestor Falls, ON. If he is available, ask to book with Phil's son; Thatcher Haggberg. Thatcher has guided me to muskies several times on Sabaskong Bay. You won't be disappointed with Thatcher's knowledge of the area. He also knows Crow Lk like its his backyard....because it is.

Have fun.
