Posts: 25 | I'll make ya a deal. You stay out of Wisconsin and I won't come to Illinois. Deal? I'm sure people from 0ther states will be willing to make the same deal with you.

| All shad based lakes in IL have fish like that this time of year...great state to fish muskies no doubt. Seriously who actually still goes to WI, except to drive through to other places? | |||

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | You boys have been 'had' by close to the driest 'sense of humor' on the planet. The Moomba reference should have been a dead giveaway. I think it's s demonstration of just how easy it is to get Muskie anglers on each others case over absolutely noting, but I could be wrong. Good one, MH.

Tackle Industries - 4/24/2010 9:51 PM 48" in IL or go to Mil Lacs, MN for a chance at a 55"+? hmmmm what to do? ;) I would guess you would be happy with either and in IL you are not surrounded by people from MN, so it might make up for the size difference...BR Edited by BenR 4/24/2010 10:03 PM

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Did you guys even read my last post? For the folks new here, this is an exchange between some regulars who like to keep things 'interesting'. No offense unless you are easy to engage, then you're on your own. NICE fish, by the way.

Posts: 2865 Location: Brookfield, WI | I don't care for the cat myself. I like at least a little better behavior from golfers. Gentlemen's game and all that. I back my fellow Cheesehead Stricker. He hunts and fishes, too, but not in strip clubs and Perkins restaurants. That I know of, at least. Was out driving around today out Pewaukee Lake way, and seeing the water it dawned on me that in two weeks it's musky time. Pretty cool. Kevin

Posts: 556 | I would have to say print is not dead---I have fished the lake before and have a trip planned for there in 2 weeks---But YES it is already being talked about--I heard of it from a friend before it was posted here---There will definately be much more musky fishing pressure on Evergreen this season---But if you are from IL--you should have already had this lake on your Radar !!!---this lake can easily produce the next state record at 40 lbs. There are maybe only 5 bodies of water in the state that could produce a fish of that size---unfortunately Good Fishing lakes rarely remain a secret--It happens everywhere and for all species of fish.

| Speaking of home lake, that was my fishing hole when I was a kid more than a half century ago. Caught my first fish (nine-inch largemouth) on a lure there, plus a lot of bullheads. It was Six-mile Creek then. No muskies. | |||
