Hey gang, i was wondering if any of you have thrown the jointed x-rap with any success? If I remember correctly i saw the linder guys catch a few river muskies on them. Thinkin about grabbing a couple for the opener.

A favorite of the Mille Lacs Pontoon snaggers, er , I mean trollers. They'll bite on that!

Slamr had a fish up on the straight XRap couple weeks ago on the chain, I caught a hammer handle pike on it a couple hours later.

No muskies, yet , but I've had a couple days where I think I've caught every little pike in the lake. Twice.

Kind of a specialty lure as far as I am concerned. Shad based resorviors, numbers lakes, places there the forage base is mostly panfish... I've had good results early season. I prefer them to a jointed Depth Raider in most situations where you'd use one.
