We are going to LSC for Muskie in July the dates are the 18th thru the 24th.
Never fished LSC for Muskie before. Any tips pointers etc will be appreciated.
We will be fishing from a 24' Thompson Fishermen. trolling.
We will be going out of Belle River. We are staying at the Belle River Yacht Club.
I understand that there is a bridge we have to go under to get to LSC. WIll my boat fit?
What are some popular baits that are used.
Thanks,
Jim
If anyone is up there in that time frame maybe we could get together and help each other out with fishing info.

The second weekend you are planning to go to LSC, is the largest tournament of the year on LSC. Muskie Bash (google it) July 24-25. So, you will have lots of company on the water all week. Your boat size should not be an issue, 24' is plenty of boat for most days.

Not sure about Belle River Yacht Club you refer to, and going under a bridge. (have never heard of it) You many want to contact Belle River Marina, and then you do not have a bridge to worry about. 519-728-2245

Belle River Marina is right on LSC, has a ramp and is north of the bridge in town. (ie do not have to go under a bridge)

I can guess at the bridge height of about 6 feet. Call the guy at the yacht club and ask. Even if it doesnt fit the harbor boat landing is right down the road and you can launch there. Great place for lunch or b'fast in the harbor too.

You should start off trolling 5, 5 1/2, and 6" Wileys at around 5mph.
