Location: WV | I am have a little problem with a small area where the topcoat, paint and sometimes primer just flakes off. The area is about the size of your thumbnail or smaller and is primarily located at the back end of the lure just in front of the back hook. Am I correct in thinking that the issue is due to the sharper angles of the lure body causing the etex to be thin on these angles? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | From past experience I found that if the edges are round a bit ( like jrhopkins suggested) that the etex will be a little heavier than on sharper edges. So put a second coat on and it will help a little bi. But rounding the edges off is much better.

| Etex will not flow around or over the sharp corners. If you take a bait and cut it in half across the bait you see there probably isn't much of any there at all. I would use at least a 1/4" radius and then it will flow around it. Devcon may since it is thicker, but I don't have any experience with it, maybe someone else may chime in about it.
