Has anyone seen this reel? Used it? I know it's a new model but can't find any info on retrieve speed. It looks nice, wonder how it compares to a Trinidad. They make it all the way down to an 8 size and looks very snazzy.

Not seen it in person, but I think I saw Larry D using one on one his wolf fish shows this year. He said he was testing a new two speed reel, and I think he said it was the Talica...I could be mistaken though. That's the extent of my seeing it.

I saw it last night on his show. That's where I saw it. I tried to google it but can't find much.

Thanks. I also found this. I would like to hold it compared to a Trinidad.

Does either the triidad or the talica come in left handed (crosses fingers )

I talked to the shimano guys at the expo about the talica vs Trinidad. He said the Trinidad would be better for bucktails and casting because the spool is heavier and the talica 8 is about the same size as a Trinidad 12
