| I'm attempting to update my HDS unit for the first time seems pretty straight forward from the website, but thought I would ask here if I'm on the right path. Using a SDMMC card reader download the info. I planned to use the card reader my wife uses for photos? Use a blank SDMMC card 512MB or larger to download the update. So I can go out and buy any SDMMC card as long as it large enough to hold the update? Then simply follow the steps to transfer the update to my unit. I guess my main question is there anything special product wise from lowrance I need to do this or am I on the right path. |

Location: Kodiak, AK | Just a blank SD card. At least that's all I've used for my updates. I think my blank card is 2 or 4 MB. I get nervous messing with my electronics, but this really is as easy as it sounds.
