| We are heading up to the Detroit Lakes area in August and have heard the lake levels are low. The lake we fish is connected to other lakes via a 2 - 3 ft. channel and if the lake water is low it wouldn't be possible to travel to those.
Is there anyone on this forum that can provide information?
Thanks |

Location: Minnesota | The information I can provide is that August is 4 months away and a lot of things can happen between now and then. It is way too early to be worrying about that. The water levels are low all over northern MN right now - we are in a dry period and need some rain. The levels fluctuate all the time - eventually we will get our rain. We don't know when but we will get it. Hopefully for you it comes before August. |

| I can tell you when you will get rain. The last week in May when I am on vacation. We always seem to bring a few inches of rain when we go north. |

| Cimusky,
Here all this time I thought I was the only one that bad weather followed on their vacations.
