200 attended the 2010 CCMI Muskie School today, selecting several classes or activities from an impressive list to fill out the day. Panel discussions, hands on educational activities, classroom style instruction, and poolside instruction were available, and everyone left with some new ideas and knowledge.
Thanks to everyone at the CCMI who worked to make this such a huge success, and to the all volunteer Faculty comprised of some of the most dedicated and experienced Muskie folks anywhere.

I attended the school and had a great time. I really liked that there was an emphasis on teaching and classroom participation, and not just showing us pictures of big fish. Not trying to brown nose but Steve's class on boat control was my favorite, he covered way more than boat control and challenged us to rethink old habits and ideas.

I had a great time, this was my first time attending and will back next year for sure. Steve you were in two of the classes I attended and it was nice to see there are different ways to muskie fish and not just do what everyone esle is doing, but to challange ourselves and try new waters and try new techniques. Great way to spend a snowy saturday.

I think I can speak for the entire board of the Cap City Chapter of Muskies, Inc. We would love to thank the entire group of instructor that participated (far too many to list here) . Your time has really made this school the top class in muskie angling it is. And a thanks to the students who make the school run smoothly throughout the entire day. And I also like to give a special thanks to Duffy for allowing us to use the Waunakee High and making sure that all the instructors have their visual aid set up and working. We couldn't do it without you. This just keeps getting better and better each year.

An all time record attendance and everything operated without a glitch. One of the most encouraging signs was to have 24 kids signed up for classes, double what we had in previous years. One young 12 year old actually had some of the best questions in our trolling class!
