| I have a mint 6500 HCL Big Game that I would sell. This particular reel was made only for one year and is something of a secret to those who have one. Ambassadeur has used the term "ultra-cast" for several different spool designs, but one of them is among the best ever made (similar to daiwa's cvz's), and has a very oversized bearing on the gear side. The 6500 HCL has this design. But the real killer feature is that this reel has stainless steel gears ( pinoin and main). There's are reasons that you don't see stainless on gears-it's expensive and very hard to machine. Also, because they are so hard, stainless gears often feel notchy and every tooth engagement comes right through the handle. These gears are a work of art-they hold up to anything you want to throw, last forever and are super smooth. Finally, this reel has the big Ambassadeur power handel.
