| I recently purchased a near new boat and it did not have any electronics on it which is what i wanted. I have now purchased all new electronics and bow mount trolling motor. One of the biggest problems with my old boat was that I was the one who did all the wiring. I am not an electrician and not afraid to admit it! I am in the NW burbs of Chicago and looking to find a reliable and reasonable place to do my wiring for me. Anyone have any experience with a local place near Chicagoland suburbs that they really liked? I have a couple of Lowrance HDS systems with an LSS1 module and a Minn Kota Terrova 80 that I need mounted and wired.
Also, I am looking to have a snap vinyl type cover made for the boat and would like to price out a couple places. Anyone know of a place near the NW burbs of Chicago that does some nicer vinyl type (Harbor Time type materials) snap boat covers? I had a place in McHenry do my cover for my last boat but they only do breathable canvas. I am not looking for that since it will not fit my needs.
Thanks in advance,
Tom

| As far as the electronics go, there is only one guy that will ever touch my boats again. His name is Greg Fitch of Xtreme Custom Marine that does on site professional marine electronic installations. He is located a ways from you in Madison, WI. Not sure if he would travel that far, depends on the job I guess? If not, well worth the drive without a doubt.
His number is 608.575.7764. His website is http://xtremecustommarine.com/.
Hope this helps you.

| Thanks guys. I appreciate the assistance. Lee, I may not want to go all the way to Madison but, I am going to do a little more custom install down the road. Looks like Greg might be the guy. I am saving his info. Anyone else have suggestions on electronics rigging in northern IL?
