Posts: 246 | Does anybody know where can I get a good mix of different blades & skirts for making homemade bucktails.I've got probably 30 of your Cowgirls,Mepps,Bucher tails ect!I'm looking to kill some time and make a few of my own.A-team tackle has a nice kit and your tails average about 21.00 a piece. Any other kits out there like Bobs that comes with all the parts and you can pick blades and skirts? Thanks Gman

Posts: 1358 Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I'd also go Rollie and Helens, Thorne brothers or Lurepartsonline.com: I usually get my stuff from Thornes or Rollie's but have ordered from lurepartsonline once before as well That Kit is nice as well.

Posts: 187 Location: West Metro, MN | That kit on luremaking.com is a great deal and would make a perfect starter kit as long as you are ok with the colors of flashabou and blades they pick for you. I make a few every year and end up buying my components from Thorne's, or Rollie and Helen's mainly because I have a pretty good idea of exactly what i want to build in terms of colors of blades and skirts so a grab bag of colors doesn't do much for me. It normally comes out to about $16 per lure for double 10's.

Posts: 365 | G-Man --- study the Rollie&Helens catalog and get an idea as to what you want to build ,,, ie: blade size, blade color, type of skirt, skirt color, beads, etc ,,, then call Rollie&Helens and ask for Jim Stewart ,,, he'll set you up -- jim

| That luremaking kit is a crazy good deal. That's $72 worth of flashabou he has in there alone. The blades leave much to be desired though. | |||

Great shop, got my start there. http://www.reinkebro.com/Home_Page.php Moore's Lures as well, great service as said before. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/ You can also order from Lakeland, they will charge you a small order fee. http://www.lakelandinc.com/
