| Hey guys,
In talking with Mike at Wave Wackers, it sounds like there is some difficulty in fitting the wave guards on the 680T model (I have a 1990) because of space constraints between the outboard and the trolling motor. It is possible to do but it sounds like area on both sides of the motor, where you would mount a trolling motor, is very small compared to a lot of boats now days and there could be some problems with the strength of the wave guards with the rubber shield.
Does anyone have a 680T with Wave Wackers or a similar product installed?
Thanks,
Chas Martin

| here's a picture from 2004 of my old '89 tiller with Wave Wacker brand shields that included a trolling motor cut-out.
it's not a real close-up, but hopefully it'll help.

| lambeau,
Thanks! Seeing your picture helps a lot. Did you ever have any problems aligning the trolling motor with the cut-out or issues with the OB hitting the plastic on a full turn?
Thanks,
Chas Martin

| the outboard never hit the wave wackers when turning.
the boat came with these, and i didn't actually have a transom trolling-motor, so i can't speak to that.
