| I see on the new Stealth leader they use a uni knot. Does a nail knot work just as good? Any other knots that would work? |

Location: 15 miles east of Lake Kinkaid | Right on esoxfly....no doubt a bimini to a twisted loop would be 100% line strength. I learned all the knots I use for musky from saltwater fly fishing as well....I figure if people can land a 100 pound tarpon on 16 lb tippet and a 100lb leader....I can land ANY muskie.
KSauers--> If you are not adept at knot tying you will find it takes a while to get good at tying Biminis however it is worth learning the knot. Also take a look at the Albright Knot:

I use it when I am using 80lb fluro leaders for lighter or smaller baits in the spring. |

If using this knot, do you loop the heavy fluoro leader and knot the braid around it? Or the other way?

Location: Oregon | Albright knot........we use it on 100# braid to 100# mono for sturgeon and have landed fish in excess of 300 pounds. I have yet to see it fail. You can see how its tied here:
