Any recommendations for Lost Land or Teal for logding? Looking for a place to take the wife for a few days.

Thanks,
Nick

I've been to totem pole quite a bit. Like it there. Depending on the time of year, you might have a hard time getting a few days vs. having to rent a whole week.

Lost Land Lake Lodge, Northland, Reel Livin, Empire are some other places to look into. I've stayed at Reel Livin in the past and it was OK. They also have camp site which is a nice option to have.

Spider Lake motel is on A and 77 not far from the landing. Might work better if you are looking for a few days during peak summer time.

I stayed at Northland Lodge last year. decent enough for a fishing trip, but quite rustic, and very "up north". Lost Land Lodge is next door, and they have a restaurant/bar if you're looking for that.

I always just stayed at the super 8 in Hayward. If you request it they have a huge room on the end of the building that you can park your truck and boat by without having to unhook. Plus lots to do in town with Pastikas, mcdonalds, norske nook resturant and more all within close walking distance.

A little bit of a drive to LLL but really not bad.

Nick, you may also want to check some of the vacation rental by owner sites. This year we are headed up to the Chip and we ended up booking a very nice recently built 3 bedroom two bath house on the water with a private dock for only a hundred or so more than booking an older smaller cabin at one of the resorts. It was no contest in my mind. We had several houses to choose from and all were very nice looking.
