I wouldn't recommend staying at Froggy's or Break on the Lake. Both of these resorts are pushing the spearing ban on northern pike being lifted.

Birch Villa,
It's a really nice and clean place, with newer cabins, and coverd docks that are out of the wind.
Mark is a muskie nut and knows the lake real well.
Town is only 10 min away, Look them up on the web.

I would recomend Wishbone Resort on the north end of the lake. Quiet, usually out of the wind, and not close to town (this is a good thing IMO). Ron is a musky guy too so he will help you out.

Birch Villa....Stayed there during the MAC tourney last year. It was very clean and really liked the dock setup. The owner( Mark) has a Replica of his 59 incher in the lodge.
