| I wouldn't recommend staying at Froggy's or Break on the Lake. Both of these resorts are pushing the spearing ban on northern pike being lifted.

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Birch Villa,
It's a really nice and clean place, with newer cabins, and coverd docks that are out of the wind.
Mark is a muskie nut and knows the lake real well.
Town is only 10 min away, Look them up on the web.

Location: Minnesota | I would recomend Wishbone Resort on the north end of the lake. Quiet, usually out of the wind, and not close to town (this is a good thing IMO). Ron is a musky guy too so he will help you out.

Location: Alexandria, Minnesota | Birch Villa....Stayed there during the MAC tourney last year. It was very clean and really liked the dock setup. The owner( Mark) has a Replica of his 59 incher in the lodge. |
