What baits do all you guys change your hooks on??
I have noticed better hook up rates when I change the standard Hellhound hooks to a 5/0 Magic Eye Gamakatsu Hook. The 1st big muskie I ever hooked..about a 4 footer...and was quickly lost on a Hellhound. That was all I needed to take a friend's advice and change out the hooks.
I know many guys change out hooks on BullDawgs...I only change the Magnum if they are the old style light wire. I think the Wide Gap Plasma Hooks are great!
I have heard of changing hooks on many topwaters as well but have not experimented with this at all..yet.
I'm looking forward for some incite on this subject.
