Location: Bemidji, MN | I think you could do it as long as you didn't use a water based paint. Also a thin clearcoat to keep the paint on longer with the abuse it is going to take. I also think that you would want to go pretty light so you wouldn't screw up the action.
I am sure some guys will chime in that have actually done this though. |

there are different techniques for different metals, but you must have the blade clean and prepped properly for best adhesion and durability.
