| Operation Muskie is an all-expenses paid, fully guided fishing trip for military veterans with recent combat zone service (1995-present). 20 lucky veterans will fish for muskies from the boats of a world-class list of guides: Jim Best, Chad Cain, Doug Johnson, Paul Klein, Pete Maina w/John Gillespie, Jim Murphy, Ed Spoerl, and Norm Wild. This year there will be a special addition: 2 vets each day will get to share a boat with the best walleye sticks in the world at the same time: Keith Kavajecz and Gary Parsons! It would be awesome if this could be offered to every veteran, but there is only room for 20 vets each year. This year's vets will be selected using an application process. The application is now available online at the Op Muskie website - just look for the "Veterans" area and you can download it right from there along with instructions.
