Has anyone sold a bait for any number of reasons only to realize later that you really wish you had it back? I know for me it is because I fish some water where I know these lures would have worked well, where at the time just did not feel the need to have them. Two that rig off the top would be a cobbs roundnose in a redhorse pattern and a perch wades wobbler that had a certain action when worked. Another bait was a 10" widowmaker glider I bought when he had a booth at the musky show, never seen another bait like that one either.

I can't part with any of my for that reason but you guys should keep selling me all those unused baits taking up space in your boats. It's win win.

Classic "one that got away" story.

Uhm, Todd..........you caught SO MANY FISH ON THEM(?), and then you got rid of them?

I'm thinkin your memory is going early, hope all the other parts stay attached for a while.

I have an almost - sold story. I have listed my last remaining musky fly rod for sale about three times and not to be sold once (thanks Vince for #3 - in all seriousness). I thought about it and realized the price I was asking was likely above mkt. but I wouldn't part with the rod below the price... made me realize I hadn't given up on the musky fly-fishing gig completely and couldn't "move-on."

So now I am happy to still have the rod, reel, and flies. I have a few metro monsters who might like a fly, and I might make a run to one of those sweet northern WI rivers next summer for a float.

Sold my 620T for a smaller 618vs, thought I would like the wheel and the speed. I was wrong!

I also sold by 680T and regret it. Paid 5k for it in great condition, ran it for 10 years and sold it for 5k. Ruptured 2 disks in my back rowing it for most of that time, wish I would have held on to it for casting purposes. Not a better all around boat for Vilas County, IMO.

Getting laid off last year I started getting ready for the financial hit. Sold a Garmin 76CS with all the lake maps, topo maps and otehr map programs. About $1000 in value. Sold on eBay for $183. 1 week later I got a new job ;(

Sorry I sold my 16ft misty river too. had a roller trailer and was light enough I could launch it wherever I wanted. Now I have a 14fter for that.

Sell them? I just give them away - only to see my friends catch fish with them the next time out.
