Hey Mike,

I was just brousing through the where you from post and I see that your from Algoma. Hey we're practically neighbors. I live in Two Rivers. Nice to see someone from my neck of the woods that is afflicted with the musky disease like me.

Back @ Ya, Muskyaddict;

We are indeed practically neighbors, both hailing from the same neck of the woods. I've been afflicted with the musky disease for way too long; there IS NO cure...[;)]

Remember you posting a message on another board before the musky season opened saying you "had it bad" as you found yourself 'twitchin' lures in Lake Michigan while steelhead fishing with your son. Thought that was pretty clever.

My son is coming in from Ohio tomorrow and we're off to Eagle River to nightfish for the skis on Friday during the full moon period. When we get back from E.R., will idle around out on L.M. a day or two and try our luck for the trout and salmon. Have you been out on the Lake any since musky season opened?

No I haven't. Actually, I used to fish the big pond ALOT, but since becoming addicted to musky, I've only been out there 10 times in the last three years. It was last year that I came to the conclusion that trolling bores the tar out of me. Even when musky fishing. I've got to be casting. On the few occasions each year that I do troll for musky, I hold the rod.

Good luck up north. I have a friend that has a cabin in Conover so I'm rather familiar with the E.R. area myself. I'm going out tonite to try for some ski's. Should be good. Have a great time and let us know how you did when you get back.

I'm leaving for Canada on August 9th. We are stopping to fish Leech lake for a day, and then onward to Monument Bay Lodge for 7 days. God I can't wait. I'll report in upon my arrival home. (If I decide to come home that is.)

Take care
