Location: Northern Wisconsin | Hey, I am trying to plan out some trips for summer 2010. My main goal is to help my girlfriend catch her first muskie. She tried last year for a few days but only had some follows, we weren't on a numbers lake though. So, I'm looking for somewhere in N. Wisconsin with: -campgrounds or a smaller cabin -boat rental -located on an action lake Basically just looking for a cheaper vacation for two, where we can rent a boat and catch a musky. Any links or info would be great! Thanks, Steve

Posts: 462 Location: Madison Wi. Chain | The birchesresort.com. Small very fishable lake with a nice population of musky up to 45 some larger. Nice place to stay with immediate access to the water and a nice beach and great restaurant. Not sure about boat rentals, but I know Keith would take care of you. BG

Posts: 956 Location: Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Cubs | Trails End on the east end of Lac Courte Orielles (Couderay) in Hayward. Tents, trailers, rvs or cabins and boats available. My first pick for LCO would be Angler's Haven. But they're cabins only no camping/rv's. They also rent boats. They're my favorite in the whole Hayward area. Karl
