Im looking at the 100mph BPS Rain gear vs the BPS Pro qualifier Rain gear. besides the cosmetic features does anyone know the difference in these 2 sets of gear? Id like to get some feedback from anyone who has used or tried either one.

Im not looking for info on guidewear, gandergear, frog togs, rain ponchos or udder cream. Just these 2 specificly, Thanks.

I have the 100 mph bibs and parka and love it. Its very waterproof and warm. i was usin it the other day in 28 degrees and i was toasty inside. The only knock that i could find was that you have to take the bibs completely off to take a leak cause there is material behind the zipper. still though thats minor. The 100 mph gear is money well spent.

I have the Pro Qualifier and so far have loved it. Stayed dry all fall long. Didn't get insulated gear, so you have to dress warm underneath in late fall, but I stayed dry and the stuff is super wind proof. I would definintely recommend it. A little less expensive then the 100mph, and you can take a leak easilly. lol

Joel hit the major difference in them! The zipper on the bibs are different and alot of guys have issues answering nature's call in the 100 MPH. I have the 100MPH, and the elastic suspenders stretch enough for me to get the job done, but it can be a pain.

I love them. I'm not sure the exact differnence, but I read somewhere it's the grade of Gore-Tex (all GTX is not created equally...there are different grades of GTX), seam taping, zippers, etc. I just like the 100MPH better, but I know alot of guys prefer the PQ. Either is fine. I am very pleased with them though. I fished up until Dec 15th when season closed, and I was in some bad stuff from an actual Gale warning to freezing rain the last day that froze my left eye shut on the way back to the ramp that night and the stuff did great. Dry and warm, and I likewise went with the uninsulated. It's good stuff, and in my opinion, worth it all the way.
