| Since it's not feasible to take ALL my lures fishing every time (and I'm sure I don't have nearly as many as most of you fellers), how do you store them at home? I have mine in "plano" type cases and then sort through the boxes before each trip, pulling lures I don't intend to use and making sure ones I want to use are there.
Would it make sense to hang them all up, then "shop" for the lures for each trip, filling available space?
I also fish for bass & walleyes, so the same scenario applies there, as well.
Any tips?

| I hang all my baits from the rafters in my basement and just choose the ones I'll need when I go out. |

Location: Minnesota | I hang everything fro the ceiling in my musky room. I stapled clothesline across my ceiling and just hang everything on them. It is all out of the way, dry, and very visible so when I am making more lures I can see what I already have and go from there. |

| Ive posted this before,,it works great,,,,next time you see a drugstore or variety store going out of biz,,,go in and see if they have any of those 4 sided sunglasses trees/stands the kind that spin around and have hooks to hold all the glasses and have their own floor stands,,,,,those make great lure storage/hangers and dont take up much room and by simply revolving the pedestal you can view many of your lures and have them readily available to grab

| Thanks, Gents. That's what I needed.....some ideas so I could figure out what would work best in my lure storage area.

| Chadster - awesome display! I think I need to build one about 3 times as big as I need right now.....then it will be OBVIOUS that I need more lures..........

Location: Indiana | I love the fancier rack Chadster has. I had some leftover lumber and did something similar for less money. Someday I will build a nicer one.
