Looking to get a new combo unit and need to know if anyone has seen the newer eagle units like the fishelite 640?

In the past the lowrance had better screens in the sun and also a wider angle of viewing. Is this this the case.

Thanks for any help. It is about a 3 hour drive to store that would have both units.

I was kind of wondering the same thing now. Will the Lowrance tranducers plug into the back of eagle units??

From what I've been told from one of the Lowrance Techs, the Lowrance 67 and 68 will work with some of the Eagle units. I do not know which Eagle units though. I'm guessing the dual beam transducer will not work but that's a guess.

Hiya

I have an eagle Intellimap 500c on my rig and it has been no problem reading it in sunlight. Good unit at an affordable price. I would say go for it.
