Hey guys im new to muskey first, has anyone ever tried using a wood lathe to turn wood lures after finding this i got to thinking would make good use of my wood lathe MANY THANKS

I use my lathe to turn Eddie style jerkbaits........works great! Give it a try and have fun!

It doesn't matter how you make your baits. Ideas are unlimited only to your imagination. I turn lots of lures on my wood lathe. I turn poppers for bass fishing. I turn small cranks for bass & walleye & northern. I also turn several styles of musky baits on my lathe. Try different woods & see what you can come up with. Good luck turning. Good sharp tools help & I may be able to help you out there also as I'm a retired tool grinder. Anyone can learn how to do this. Ken
