I am surprised with all of the other great shots submitted.
We did catch 2 that day...on the openner of Wisconsin Gun Season...the first was a 50.5" x 24" at 8am for Tim Simonson his PB....then at 4pm I bagged this one a 51.5" x 22" my PB...it really was a tough year on GB this year though, I had 17 full days (usually sun-up to sun-down) out there this fall and only 7 musky in the boat...Tim did take this photo and the funny thing is that it wasn't stagged with the reel, just a routine release shot. When I was waiting for her to get her fins back under her I asked him to take another pic. It was a pleasant suprise to see the Okuma Reel, Traxstech rod holders and Black River Rod show up so nice.
I do love my new Okuma trolling reels, this is not a biased statement, they truely are great reels at a great price. I use Convector CT-30, CT-20 and Catalina CT-25's. The CT-30 would be the one I would recommend for musky trolling. They are working good for my new venture for Salmon too.
Thank you to Okuma also. The suport they are giving the musky community is wonderfull! |
