Tried a search, but it's not working tonight.

What do you guys do about ice on your boat decks? They're calling daytime highs of 21 and 20 on Thursday and Friday and there will be ice. I was icing up Friday night and it was just at 32. I don't have carpet, I have straight non-skid glass.

What works for you guys? Sled, what'd you do?

gotta be careful on that boat with the ice ... cut a piece of carpet and put it on that deck or run the boat from the middle and stay down, but be careful cause it will get slippery really quick!

I was hoping you'd installed electric deck heaters and didn't tell me!

You might try a small propane heater in the section right next to you.

Slip on boot chains like we wear for ice fishing?

I'm wondering if you could get by with some RV antifreeze. It is biodegradable, and I don't think it would take much, but I wonder if you could actually put some of that down over the frozen area.....might help it from freezing up....
